Tator

This is my 5 pound Yorkie Tator, I just brought her home from the vet yesterday she is my little house dog and was sorly missed. I had her in the vets last week with fever and not eating, they gave her antibiotics and sent us home, 2 days later we were back she still had fever and was still not eating. This time the vet kept her and ran tests, they found a 3 inch tumor in her tummy, so the next day they operated and for the next 2 days did not know if she was going to make it. On the third day she started doing better and trying to eat so the following day we got to bring her home. :) As you can tell by the picture the trip home took a lot out of her! One of her favorite things to do is to look out the window so I put blankets on the couch and moved the couch over to the window so she could lay and look out. She spent most of the day yesterday laying with her back leg propped up, she was comfy but also miserable. She is 9 years old so I guess her age did not help with recovery it took her little longer to bounce back. Today though I am happy to say she is walking around (slowly) and wanting to go bye bye! The vet called and the tumor was not cancer so we are so very happy! :D

  1. Our little black adventure kitty weighs 9 pounds. She had a tangle with a dog recently and I am not sure what she would make of a 5 pounder. She is supposed to stay inside, but does not.

Since she is a house dog, I take it she would not be helping you to track your lost cows.

I hope she gets feeling better soon. I am glad she is on the mend.

    1. No she would not be out tracking with me, if she got out of the yard she would be off chasing squirrels :)

  2. I'm glad Tator is doing OK. Spring will be here soon, those squirrels better watch out!
