Monday mornings hubby has to get up and get everything ready to leave for work, while I fix his breakfast. This is at 3:30am and I jump up with somewhat energy (best as can be expected at that time) and feel somewhat good, crack jokes etc... This morning though he had to drive to the farthest yard, so this meant getting up at 2:30am its amazing how just that hour earlier makes such a big difference (like you want to throw the alarm out the window kinda thing)! Anyway everything else was normal (just not the time) Sparky for instance was his normal self
He gets his usual morning talk from hubby to leave him alone while he is getting his shoes on....
He starts out with the best of intentions, he is going to be a good dog and mind this time....
Hubby takes a little to long to put on his shoes Sparky starts getting antsy......
Forgetting the talk earlier, Sparky decides his help is need after all....
Then this normally leads to hubby forgetting what he told him and stops to play and now hubby is 10 minutes later getting out the door.....Some thing never change!
We did get a lot accomplished this past weekend though and I did remember (on most) to take pictures :) I am getting better, somewhat... :D
I have three dogs that think if they help me put my boots on, we will get out the door quicker, and go for our afternoon walk/fishing/photo taking.
ReplyDeleteOur little Dachshund doesn't try to help, she just whines or barks at me to hurry-up.
ReplyDeleteOh, I think Dachshunds are so cute!
DeleteHi! I am so glad that you left a comment on my blog, it has been so fun to read yours! No pets for me, I cant even keep a plant alive, but I will enjoy reading all your adventures!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteThat's funny! My husband usually says to our old cocker (who's asleep on the sofa) as he heads out the door..."I wish I could be Ben!!"
ReplyDeleteCute!!
