Time to get out the hay

We decided it was time to start setting out the round bales of hay (last week), we left two bales in the rings, but the cows were still roaming around and were not interested. This morning though they were more than ready and have already eaten a good half of one of them. This is yet another sign and I am so not ready for winter!

 most of the others are behind the second bale.
