Rooster fights

We have three roosters (thought they were all hens in the beginning) :) anyway Sunny and Donnie lately have been getting into fights at the drop of a hat. When they fight this same hen comes running and steps in between them and they both (so far) walk away...

    Uh-oh! Never had that problem..always only had one rooster. But then when I lost the one, it was a problem..the girls were frantic!

      Oh poor girls!! I try to keep one rooster around because they do protect the hens. When I got my chickens last year they said they would all be girls but you know how that goes!

    You are lucky they don't fight more, we have had more then one at a time and we ended having to give one away.
    We lost our rooster to a weasel this past winter and it is not the same around here without one waking us up in the morning, there must be a short of roosters here this year as we are having problems replacing ours.

      Oh sorry to hear that! We have trouble with hoot owls here and a fox once in a while. Wish you lived close to me you could have one of our roosters! :)
