Welcome to our on line journal

I hope you can take a moment to view our little blog. It will be a work in progress, we have a lot of plans for 2011 that I would like to share with you. As we travel this road to being a little more self sufficient with raising our own meat, milk goats (learning to make cheese), cows and our ladies (chickens) and getting a few pigs this spring and of course our gardens. With lots of repairs needing done (and doing them ourselves) we will be happily busy. I love to crochet, make quilts, embroidery and hope to show you some of my finished work. The most important things to us is of course our health, enjoying the life we are living, trying to be as gentle on the earth as we can, and of course having our family and friends along for the ride.
