Moving the cattle guard

I am so excited! We talked about building a house for 20 odd years but that's all it was was talk. We are finally going to do it :) first things first we had to move our cattle guard down the road a bit and we also fenced off 6 acres so the cattle won't bother the construction workers when they do the basement. (Also don't want cow prints where there shouldn't be cow prints) we are having the basement poured and the outside walls put up with roof on then Jim and I will do the rest as we go along. I think we will learn a lot about construction. I figure your never to old to learn something new and I also think it will be fun, in a get frustrated, more than likely cry a little but it's the only way we can do this kinda way.

When we finished with the concrete for the cattle guard Jim had to have his best buddy's paw print on it.
