I had to come over here and meet you and now I'm your newest follower. What town do you live in/near by? I was born and raised in the Sparta/Ozark area. Moved away when I was 25 and I sure do miss it!! I see where you live on 100 acres in an old farmhouse, how wonderful!! Being raised on a farm, I know it's hard work but I would never live in the city again. I am a country girl and I sure miss all those acres I was raised on. Just like all the wonderful pictures you took of your homeplace, there's no place like the country!

I hope Gibby is doing better now. She had an adorable boy! Good for you on getting great service at Lowe's! They've always been good to us but I've never had anything big like that. Nice to know they take care of their customers.

Oh, and I love fried taters! Sometimes I cook hot dogs with mine, that's how I was raised but hubby doesn't like his that way, lol. Nice visiting with you, looking forward to following your blog. Have a wonderful weekend~Angie Berry ~ Berry Homespun Primitiveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17664447067172311957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-87213401266069917682012-05-25T08:16:58.786-05:002012-05-25T08:16:58.786-05:00What a day, sometimes it just doesn't pay to g...What a day, sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed! Glad that Gibby is ok and the new kid is sure cute. Lowes is a great company. When the tornado happened last year at Joplin, we went to help out cooking food. Tyson set up on the Lowe's parking lot and came out to see if we needed anything. They gave us tables and chairs, even those patio covers that set up to protect you from the sun. They told us to tell anyone to come in for whatever they needed. It was tremendous help to people who had lost everything in that storm. Pretty good folks, I'd say!Joy Tiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183952085695405635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-47963594800402924942012-05-24T11:47:20.323-05:002012-05-24T11:47:20.323-05:00Just wanted to stop by and thank YOU for stopping ...Just wanted to stop by and thank YOU for stopping by! They are a NC based company. The other Atlanta based big box goes through phases- almost flavors- of how they run their stores. Recently they have taken to selling homeowners packages with an odd number of electrical parts - parts that normally are used as pairs (connectors). Obvioulsy this tends to lead to left overs and over buying. Nice way to look after you customer.russell1200https://www.blogger.com/profile/16258915475311426433noreply@blogger.com
