The glass is still half full, at least I have other ways to cook and I think I can even pull off thanksgiving with it being broken. :)country lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06062018110749960921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-21700669056236576382012-11-15T07:39:31.186-06:002012-11-15T07:39:31.186-06:00Hi, I just found your blog tonight. I could use the elements on top, and used my slow cooker to cook everything else, which worked out fine.

Good luck - I hope you can get your oven fixed soon. Mine was only an element that was busted, but it still cost $200 (NZ) to repair, when you can buy a new oven for just over twice the price.

Julie QPoppy Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12271337805172036471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-58565615541142238762012-11-14T07:23:20.488-06:002012-11-14T07:23:20.488-06:00No mine is all in one also,I borrowed an electric ...No mine is all in one also,I borrowed an electric skillet from my sister for frying. To save heating up the oven, I often cook scones (biscuits) in a frying pan with a lid on (skillet). Works just fine.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16855403299773356566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-21443969972873572832012-11-10T20:04:37.713-06:002012-11-10T20:04:37.713-06:00I will thanks :) have a great weekendI will thanks :) have a great weekendcountry lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06062018110749960921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-5623649925576949912012-11-10T17:04:40.868-06:002012-11-10T17:04:40.868-06:00check on line, both lowes and homedepot sometimes ...check on line, both lowes and homedepot sometimes offer 6 mos, no interest or 1 year. look...bet they might have some good deals...end of year.JMDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03639819967286148205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359279116223086664.post-77202249389970539262012-11-10T16:00:14.441-06:002012-11-10T16:00:14.441-06:00We have a lowes I told hubby yesterday I wish we h...We have a lowes I told hubby yesterday I wish we had a charge card! :) Chicken and dumplings are one of my favorites! They had been unplugged in the vacant home and we didn't assume anything could be wrong. Ahem, big mistake, the refrigerator never quit running and the dishwasher had even worse problems. Sigh.

We had to replace both items quickly. We were fortunate that the store that sells appliances was having a big sale and managed really great bargains.

Have you tried Craigslist? Good luck, I use my crock pot a lot but we live in Arizona and often it is too hot to fire up the oven.JMDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03639819967286148205noreply@blogger.com
